I think an announcement in English is due as well, since many English-speaking users were spotted requesting this feature.

And so, it's official now. Vox seems reluctant to provide the threaded comments support, but where's a will, there's a way, and I found the way (but only for users of Firefox and other such browsers, that support GreaseMonkey).

In order to have threaded comments, one has to install the Firefox add-on called greasemonkey.

Afterwards, install this script.

That's all. If there are any bugs or further development suggestions - dump them in the comments to this post

(Now I must find a way to make people able to stumble across this post. How about digg-ing it or something?)

В новичка запихал (тут забавная система: можно один и тот же пост в больше чем один журнал давать). А в русисраэле кроме тебя пока никого нет, так что не буду :). Вот если бы найти какую-нибудь большую англоязычную группу аналогичную новичку...

И это разумно, на мой взгляд. Всегда чертыхаюсь, когда в ЖЖ вижу ветки, из которых один из авторов вымарал все свои комменты. Намного приятнее жить в сервисе, в котором люди сначала думают, потом пишут, а не наоборот.

1. Go to Tools -> Greasemonkey -> Manage user scripts
2. Click on "Thread Comments"
3. Edit the Include pages to this: http://*.vox.com/*

Should work now.

Thanks for the link! I think I should add your explanation to the description on userscript.org, as well as the additional include lines.

this is great I found it by a link from a post on Ross's blog, who I found through another post. (the internet is such a great tool).
